Aaron,
I thought at first I had an issue with the other one because the simmer sleeve was very hard to turn, but then I read in the instructions about how to loosen it up and that solved most of the problem.  It doesn’t have as much clearance top to bottom as the other one so it still binds up a little bit but is definitely workable now. I did have the chance to test it out a couple times yesterday and overall I’m really happy with the product.  The simmer sleeve concept is pretty neat.  I lit it one time without opening the vents at all and it ran for well over an hour!  Took over a half hour to boil 55 degree water, but it’s a really nice option to have for slow cooking. Thanks for the great service Aaron.

Hello Aaron, Just a quick note to let you know how pleased I am w/ the Turbo II-D purchased from you a few months ago. It’s been out w/ us on a few campground trips, and a 3 nite backpack trip., w/ many more to come. We’ve been using Sterling’s “Galley Heat” for fuel.  It… Continue Reading

Aaron, You are too kind! I must say that after looking at dozens, if not hundreds, of small hand-made camping stoves I found yours to be above the rest in function, fit and finish! As an artisan myself, I appreciate your skill so I just had to support your continued efforts and buy both examples… Continue Reading

Hi Aaron, Just wanted to compliment you on such a quality stove. I’ve used alcohol stoves in the past but most are either too heavy to convince me to leave the white gas stove at home or were to flimsy to be reliable. Your stove not only seems rugged enough to withstand years of use… Continue Reading
